Aquarius horoscope today
Aquarius today, Monday, October 5, read two ways: from the Sun sign, and from Kumbha Rashi for Moon sign Aquarius. The Moon is in your 7th: partners, clients and the one person you cannot ignore. Meet them halfway rather than waiting to be met.
Aquarius horoscope today, read two ways. Here is what it tends to bring, in the Western voice and the Vedic one, as Kumbha rashi.
Western voice, for Sun sign Aquarius · Moon in your 7th
Everyone born with the Sun in Aquarius shares this sky today. Below is what it tends to bring in the Western voice, counted from the Sun sign, and in the Vedic voice, counted from Kumbha for those whose Moon sign is Aquarius. Then the part no column can do: the same day read from your own chart.
This season
Saturn sits in your 3rd this season, steady pressure on that part of life. Jupiter is in your 7th, growth in that area, if you make room for it.
Aquarius Moon sign (Kumbha Rashi) today
For people whose Moon sign is Aquarius, today's Moon is in the 6th from Kumbha, counted on the sidereal zodiac.
For Moon sign Aquarius, not Sun sign Aquarius · Chandra in the 6th from Kumbha
Chandra in the 6th: service, health and debts, a favourable count. Clear a debt of any kind and the day is well spent.
The reading above this one is for Sun sign Aquarius; this one is for Moon sign Aquarius. A Vedic rashifal is read from your Moon sign, your Rashi, and most people's Sun and Moon signs differ. Finding your Rashi needs your birth date, time and place: find your Rashi or use the Moon sign calculator. Sun sign, Moon sign, Rashi and Lagna, explained.
Shani and Guru from Kumbha Rashi this season
Shani is in the 2nd from Kumbha, within one sign of it: if your Moon sign is Aquarius, sade sati is running, so accept delays as the lesson rather than the enemy. Guru transits the 6th from Kumbha, so expansion there needs your own effort to take.
For Moon sign Aquarius, the Moon passes the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th from Kumbha this week. Saturn and Jupiter are counted on the sidereal zodiac; how transits are counted.
The week ahead
The Moon moves through your 7th, 8th, 9th this week, counted from Aquarius. Best days are when it sits in your 1st, 3rd, 5th, 9th or 11th; go gently when it is in your 8th or 12th.
This is a sign-level reading: true for one twelfth of the world. Your own reading uses your Moon, your rising sign and the period you are living through, and it is free from your birthday.
How it is worked out
At the last hourly update, the Moon was in Leo on the Western zodiac. Counted from Aquarius as the 1st sign, that is your 7th. The Sun-sign line is what the Moon in that house tends to bring.
The Kumbha reading runs the same count on the sidereal zodiac, the one Vedic astrology uses. There the Moon was in Karka, the 6th from Kumbha. The two zodiacs sit about 24 degrees apart, so the two counts can differ by a sign.
The season lines come from where Saturn and Jupiter sit, counted the same way on each zodiac. The positions come from an astronomical ephemeris. The date shown is the day in UTC. How Horoskope reads a chart.
What this cannot tell you
- The Sun-sign reading is the same for everyone with the Sun in Aquarius, about one person in twelve.
- The Kumbha reading is right for you only if your Moon sign, your Rashi, is Kumbha. Many people with the Sun in Aquarius have a different one.
- Neither can know your rising sign or the period you are in. Those need your birth details.
- The date is the UTC day. Where you live it may already be tomorrow, or still yesterday.
