Libra horoscope today
Libra today, Monday, October 5, read two ways: from the Sun sign, and from Tula Rashi for Moon sign Libra. The Moon is in your 11th: friends, groups and what you hope for. Ask the network for the favour.
Libra horoscope today, read two ways. Here is what it tends to bring, in the Western voice and the Vedic one, as Tula rashi.
Western voice, for Sun sign Libra · Moon in your 11th
Everyone born with the Sun in Libra shares this sky today. Below is what it tends to bring in the Western voice, counted from the Sun sign, and in the Vedic voice, counted from Tula for those whose Moon sign is Libra. Then the part no column can do: the same day read from your own chart.
This season
Saturn sits in your 7th this season, steady pressure on that part of life. Jupiter is in your 11th, one of the kind places for it: a good season to ask for help.
Libra Moon sign (Tula Rashi) today
For people whose Moon sign is Libra, today's Moon is in the 10th from Tula, counted on the sidereal zodiac.
For Moon sign Libra, not Sun sign Libra · Chandra in the 10th from Tula
Chandra in the 10th: karma and public standing. Work done today is seen and remembered.
The reading above this one is for Sun sign Libra; this one is for Moon sign Libra. A Vedic rashifal is read from your Moon sign, your Rashi, and most people's Sun and Moon signs differ. Finding your Rashi needs your birth date, time and place: find your Rashi or use the Moon sign calculator. Sun sign, Moon sign, Rashi and Lagna, explained.
Shani and Guru from Tula Rashi this season
Shani transits the 6th from Tula this season. Guru transits the 10th from Tula, so expansion there needs your own effort to take.
For Moon sign Libra, the Moon passes the 10th, 11th, 12th, 1st from Tula this week. Saturn and Jupiter are counted on the sidereal zodiac; how transits are counted.
The week ahead
The Moon moves through your 11th, 12th, 1st this week, counted from Libra. Best days are when it sits in your 1st, 3rd, 5th, 9th or 11th; go gently when it is in your 8th or 12th.
This is a sign-level reading: true for one twelfth of the world. Your own reading uses your Moon, your rising sign and the period you are living through, and it is free from your birthday.
How it is worked out
At the last hourly update, the Moon was in Leo on the Western zodiac. Counted from Libra as the 1st sign, that is your 11th. The Sun-sign line is what the Moon in that house tends to bring.
The Tula reading runs the same count on the sidereal zodiac, the one Vedic astrology uses. There the Moon was in Karka, the 10th from Tula. The two zodiacs sit about 24 degrees apart, so the two counts can differ by a sign.
The season lines come from where Saturn and Jupiter sit, counted the same way on each zodiac. The positions come from an astronomical ephemeris. The date shown is the day in UTC. How Horoskope reads a chart.
What this cannot tell you
- The Sun-sign reading is the same for everyone with the Sun in Libra, about one person in twelve.
- The Tula reading is right for you only if your Moon sign, your Rashi, is Tula. Many people with the Sun in Libra have a different one.
- Neither can know your rising sign or the period you are in. Those need your birth details.
- The date is the UTC day. Where you live it may already be tomorrow, or still yesterday.
- This is for reflection and cultural interest. It describes tendencies, does not predict events, and is not medical, legal or financial advice.
