How do I read my birth chart?
Say the three anchors as one sentence: 'I push like a Leo, I feel like a Cancer, I come across as a Scorpio.'
That sentence already says more than a sign column can.
Next, find the houses. The chart is a wheel of twelve rooms, the houses, counted from the rising sign. The first is you, the fourth home and family, the seventh partnership, the tenth work and reputation. A planet in a house brings its nature to that room.
Then look for clusters. Three planets in one house make that part of life prominent. An empty house is not a missing part of life. It is quieter, and its ruling planet shows where its business is handled.
Aspects, the angles between planets, come after that. Planets close together blend; planets opposite each other pull against each other; planets ninety degrees apart create friction. You do not need the geometry to feel it: the chart will already have told you which parts of you are at ease and which are at work.
The Vedic reading adds one more layer, and it matters above all the others: the dasha, the planetary period running now. It is the difference between describing a person and describing their year. Cast your chart below and the free reading names your current period when you switch it to 'I know my chart'.
